Impatience
Impatience.
There’s good impatience, and there is Monday impatience. The good impatience is that feeling you get just before you open your eyes on the morning of your birthday. The zzzzrrripppp of wrapping paper as you tear it off a Christmas present. The second before you know someone is going to say they love you for the very first time.
And then there is the Monday impatience....

A good song
Sometimes, I fall in love with a song and I listen to it over and over again.
I don’t fall in love with it as a musician (god, no), or a lyricist, or a sound person (what does too much reverb mean, anyway) or a singer (I can barely hold a tune but I’m not tone deaf) or anything remotely music-related.
This gives me a lot of flexibility - I can name a number of songs I love, but...
